August 13, 2024 dawned with Sierra Blue skies. Little did I know I would find tacos on the trail. Thank you Taco Hut tribe! Glen Pass is the northern gateway to the Rae Lakes, one of the cherished destination in the Sierra Nevada mountains. When hiking northbound in August, 2024, I cached a resupply box at the Onion Valley campground near Independence. Leaving my cozy campsite near Forestor Pass, the trail leads to Vidette Meadows. From there, I headed up to Bullfrog Lake and finally to Kearsarge Lakes, a wonderful spot nestled under the Kearsarge Pinnacles. Filmed with iPhone 14 pro.

New Army Pass is the first pass northbound on the Pacific Crest Trail from the Cottonwood Lakes trailhead. Started the day from Cottonwood Lakes, up and over the pass, visited Soldier Lake and ended up at the Rock Creek camping spot. Filmed on iPhone 14 pro.
