Live an Adventurous Life
Climb Like a Mzungu is a book about personal transformation through adventure and self-discovery obtained on the sharp end of a rope. It is an outdoor adventure memoir about the risk and rewards of rock and ice climbing. The conflicts are straight-forward: my own fears and the unknown mountain elements. My success is made possible by my team. I am lucky to find great friends to climb with and help me overcome obstacles that, at first, hold me back. My journey also includes the wrenching experience of losing friends and family, and describes how climbing helps me to process both fear and grief.
